The logo comprises of a circular border, which represents a plate, symoblising food. The graphics within the circle are the negative space of the iconic sydney operah house wedge shaped windows. These represent Australia. Simple :)
I chose to use the black with white spacing colour scheme because it really brought out the negative space of the operah house wedges.
These where my initial concepts that I played around with, they are all the same design but using different colour schemes, and the one highlighted was basically a shadowed version of the original graphic.
